Have you ever seen a “Coloring for Dummies” book, or an “Idiot’s Guide to Coloring”? I know I haven’t. That’s probably because you have to be brilliant or under 10 to color well. Either that, or just not me. Touch Twin is having a coloring challenge, so I gave it a shot.
I tried coloring using flock and a marker:
Then I tried coloring using Bic markers, which are supposedly the poor man’s alcohol markers:
Last, I used colored pencils and blended with odorless mineral spirits:
I think the pencils turned out the best, though the flock had the coolest look to it. I’ve seen other people have amazing results with markers, so it is probably just my ineptitude. Oh well, I have tried.
The image is a Gina K. Designs image. Here were my tools:
Thanks for spending some time with me today!
I like the flock one the best, too., but they all look good. Great sentiment, too.

Thanks, Teresa. I was the easiest one, too. Well, except for getting the glue in just the right places.

I really like your pencil card…………I don’t think you’re inept at all…….there’s a lot of great tutorials on the internet that can give you some tips, we all started as beginners Golda!!! I LOVE the layout in your first card and I’m so glad you played along………. Good luck in the draw and thanks so much for playing along with us at Touch Twin

Thanks Vicki. I read a book and was trying to do it that way, but wasn’t too impressed. It will definitely take some practice. I’ve seen a few videos, too.
