2012 Father’s Day Cards

In the past couple of weeks I have made four Father’s Day cards.  Some of them you’ve already seen, but I thought I’d show them all to you here.

This one you’ve seen and is for my father-in-law.  He won’t be around this Sunday, so we’ll do Father’s Day with him when he gets back to town.

This one is for my father.  It looks much better in person, but I did a CAS (Clean And Simple) card with aged parchment paper for the background and embossed the pocket watch in gold.

You’ve seen this one, too.  It is from me to my husband for Father’s Day.  I definitely wouldn’t have made it raising the kids without his help.

This last one I just did, but didn’t stamp who it was made by as it is from my son to his father.  When I asked my son what color he wanted to “pop”, he looked at me like I was crazy.  I then explained the card was black and gray and he needed to choose a color to stand out.  He chose red.  It’s blank inside because he wants to explain the funny gift he is giving.

Thanks for spending some time with me today!  Don’t forget, Father’s Day is this Sunday.  It only takes a few minutes to make a special card for your dad or the man who is a father figure for you and the fact that you made it makes it mean so much more.

  1. Fantastic Father’s Day card for your son to give to his dad. I love the red “pop” color. Thanks for playing along again this week at FOSTV. Can’t wait to see what you come up with next week.
