Independence Day!

Celebrating America’s independence is always fun.  It’s a bit warm in Phoenix to go out and actually enjoy fireworks, so our family tradition (to my husband’s dismay) is to watch “Independence Day” and then watch fireworks on t.v. from our nicely air-conditioned living room.  I often like to go out and see some of the downtown fireworks from the front yard (the highest ones are often visible).  We went to the fireworks one year, but it was so crowded and so hot, we just didn’t enjoy it.  So, we celebrate in our own way.

Here’s a card I made to celebrate our Independence Day, the 4th of July:

Thanks for spending some time with me today!  Enjoy your celebration of our nation’s independence next week!

  1. Just perfect for the 4th of July. Our fireworks display is usually watched by us on the high bluffs of the Tennessee river. Sometimes, we go and others we just cool it at home. Thanks for joining us at FOSTV this week.
