Here is a card made using the Kissing Technique. To do this technique, you take a silhouette (solid image) stamp and ink it with a light color, then use a texture image stamp, or just another image that is inked in a darker ink and press your original image to that texture image to get the texture onto it, then stamp it. After stamping the solid image onto the texture image, it helps to huff onto the stamp to re moisten the first ink.
- Memento ink: Tuxedo Black, Rhubarb Stalk, Gray Flannel, Canteloupe, Rich Cocoa
- Stamps by Gina K.: Wild About You, Timeless Textures
- Card: Georgia Pacific Image Plus
- Clear Stardust pen (Sakura)
The challenge this week on ScrapZee is to use a silhouette image, the challenge at StampTV is to use the kissing technique and the challenge at MFP SpeedyTV FOSTV is to make a Fall/Harvest card. The colors I chose to use are for the Fall/Harvest card challenge. However, I needed a birthday card for an uncle, so the colors are all I can offer to that one. Though, maybe the animals are getting together for a Fall Festival.
Thanks for spending some time with me today!
