ScrapZee had a Christmas Crop this past Wednesday through Saturday. It was a lot of fun, 2 challenges per day and a fun Christmas song bingo game. In fact, if you go check it out, you can still participate in each of the challenges until 11:59pm CST Tuesday and be entered in the drawing for each challenge.
Here are the items I made:
This first one was a gift bag made out of an envelope.
For this one, we were to make a tree out of anything that wasn’t typical tree and it wasn’t supposed to be green. My son saw my bird tree and mentioned that he thought it was a partridge in a pear tree, not a pear in a partridge tree, so I had to make a pear and add the saying.
This one was to make a card that resembled some Christmas wrapping paper.
We were supposed to make a gift card holder. However I forgot to go back and reread the instructions, which said no red or green. Oops!
This one was for a sketch challenge to only use red and white card stock and to emboss a Christmas sentiment with gold embossing powder.
This was the replacement gift card holder. This time I followed the instructions.
For this challenge, we were to make a card to do with one of the 12 Days of Christmas lines. I went funny, as did several others.
For this challenge, we were to use alcohol ink and compressed air to make a fun design/paper, then use it.
My challenge was to use a bird as the focal point of either a card, tag, gift card holder, etc. These were my samples:
Thanks for spending some time with me!
