Dancin’

On WCC this week, the challenge was to use water in some way.  I used actual water, along with Distress Oxide inks and some Inktense watercolor pencils.

3-6-19 MFT Color WCC Water

Used Distress Oxide inks in Peacock Feathers, Twisted Citron, and Shaded Lilac to color the watercolor paper.  Inked the paper dry, using the MFT Mini Cloud Edges Stencil and the GKD Water Droplets stencil.  Then misted some water over it and let it dry.  The stamp set is Polynesian Paradise from MFT.  Stamped the images on a layering weight white card and colored with Derwent Inktense Pencils, then blended/smoothed with a water brush.

Added 3 sequins that were close to the colors I used in the card, a bit of lilac ribbon and put it all together.  There’s a bit of glitter pen added, to give a bit of sparkle here and there, too.

Used colors similar to the current MFT color challenge.

Thanks for spending some of your valuable time with me today!
