So, on WeCraftCards this week, the challenge was to make a “Lift card”. I’ve seen these before, with a different name, which I can’t remember at this point, but here’s what I made.
Used a fun holographic paper for my background, then did some Oxide Ink for the inside, with the Hero Arts Jellyfish background embossed on it using Stampendous Kaleidoscope embossing powder so they would pick up a bit of color from the background and look more like real jellyfish. Used water just inside the jellyfish bodies to make those lighten a bit. The stamps and dies are all from the Hero Arts March 2019 MMA kit. Saw that one and determined it would definitely be a good one to have. My husband agreed, so I got it. Love it when he tells me to go ahead and get something because I get so excited about it.
I also got the Betta Fish set at the same time. Here are a couple of cards I made with that one:
And this last one is what I made for my husband for our anniversary:
You can kind of see from the top inside corner that shows, that I splattered both colors of the ink I used inside, as well. The ink was what came in the kit, 2 reactive Hero Arts inks. Splattered a bit of Spectrum Noir sparkle ink in the background and used the brush pen itself to add a bit of sparkle to the fish. My husband loves the card.
Thanks for spending some time with me today!
I am all in with our hubby!

Thank you Gayle! It’s hard to tell in the picture, but the holographic paper kind of reminds me of the ocean waves.
