Camp Create Day 1

My Favorite Things had a Camp Create this week.  I wasn’t able to participate daily, as work and life got in the way, but I did play.

Day 1 was Wonderful Watercolor:  Print

The challenge was to use some form of watercolor.  So, I did a watercolor background.  I actually used a couple of different blues from the Ken Oliver Color Burst line, lots of water, and I added a bit of Perfect Pearls powder to it for some sparkle.

As it is July and I am very behind on Christmas cards, I decided to do each challenge as a Christmas card.

For this set, I used the BB Beast Friends set.

I added some shimmer white paint at the bottom for my snow.  I had stamped a few foot prints, so painted around those to look like they had sunk into the snow a bit.

This was definitely a fun one.

Thanks for spending some time with me today!

  1. I worked backwards on your posts and enjoyed each and every one. So very creative. Your fun Yeti is adorable and a great idea to highlight the footprints.
