This is quite the month. As so many activities were canceled, I actually had a bit of time to sit and create this weekend. Unfortunately, our internet decided it doesn’t want to work, so have to try and post what I can from work.
This was another attempt at a birthday card for my husband that I like. I had the tree and really wanted to put a dinosaur with it. Had this Rubbernecker set, which worked okay. The background was the challenge. Decided to use light watercolors, but they turned out way to dark, so covered with vellum. Looks like my volcano is floating, however. Oops! My husband will get this one, whether I like it, or not, as he won’t care that the volcano is floating. Oh well.
Here’s an Easter card I made following (sort of) the MFT Sketch challenge for the week.
All of the pieces, except the base are vellum. Coloring the vellum took a while. Did it with pencil. Hope you enjoy this one. Used three different sets, but as I’m at work, I don’t have the names of them.
Thanks for spending some of your valuable time with me. Remember, God is in control, no matter what the world looks like. His plan is good. Though as we fight Him tooth and nail, it’s harder from our perspective to get there. I’ve read the last chapter, it all works out in the end, as long as we trust Him. You, whether I know you, or not, are being prayed for.
