Decided to try another Easter card. It’s my favorite time of the year, as it’s why I have hope, so had to find a good way to share that.
For this one, I used some Distress Oxide inks to blend the front panel and the front of the base card. Oh, this made me so much happier. I embossed the cross on the base card, after doing the ink blending, in a copper embossing powder. The lily needed to stand out, at least the one, so embossed it again on white card. Cut that one out and popped it up. Used a Silhouette torn rectangle die on the front panel, so you could see the cross.
This I like. Sigh of contentment.

This is very nice! I love the lilies in the cross. You chose great colors for the frame.

Very definitely an Easter card and you should be contented. It is beautiful. Love the sponging of the colours and your lily is pretty.

Thanks Johanna! I actually used brushes for the inking. It gives it a bit of a different look than sponging, but still covers well.
