Leftovers

I can’t stand to waste and I really liked the front panel I did for Easter card attempt 2, so used what I had cut out of that panel to make another card.  Embossed the cross again, but on that panel, this time.  Did it on white again, too.  Inked another base card with blue, then put it all together.  Yes, I’m putting this in all 3 challenges, again: Mod Squad, MFT sketch and MFT color.

4-5-20 MFT Easter 3

This one makes me happy, too.  It’s a peaceful reminder of the truth of who Jesus is and who I am because of what He did for me.

Thanks for a bit more of your time.

    1. Thanks Gayle. I had fun doing both this one and the other cross card. I actually used Distress Oxide inks and put it on with a brush (Tim Holtz).

    1. Thanks Johanna. I do hate to throw away bits that I like. If you could see the piles around my craft room, you’d understand. I do much better when I use them immediately. 😉

  1. Love that you upcycled! I’m going to CASE this card with a similar stamp, Golda. The only change I’ll make is to add a butterfly. I’ve started always adding one to my Easter Cards to symbolize new life. I hope that your Easter is blessed this year… in spite of what is going on around us!

    1. Kathy, what a great addition! My husband will be thrilled, as we won’t be going to spend Easter with family this year. He always wants us to stay home. This year, he gets his wish.
I hope you have a good Easter, as well. You are in my prayers.

  2. How clever to use the “left overs”. I love your design here. Thanks so much for playing along with us once again over at the Mod Squad.
