I wanted to make a fun Valentine for my husband. Granted, he normally gets a few throughout the day. The Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge was to make a shaker card, so I went with that, as I enjoy making shaker cards.

This was quite a fun one to make, as it has a huge shaker. I decided to put the sentiment on the inside as I didn’t want to cover up much of the shaker window.

There’s not a whole lot of room to write on this one as the base is black, but it’s still a fun card.
Products Used:
- Black and White card stock
- Circle Die
- Rectangle Die
- Tulle
- Chunky Glitter
- White & Silver paint pens
- Altenew To the Moon set
- Foam tape
- Liquid Glue
Thank you for spending some of your valuable time with me today. Try something new and just have fun doing it, no matter how it turns out.
Love that huge window shape for your shaker and the sentiment is perfect.

Cool shaker card design! Love your curved rectangle frame and the tulle (instead of acetate) for the shaker window. Perfect night sky for your moon and stars! Very clever!!

Thanks Lisa. I had fun making my night sky. I even found some small star rhinestones in with my sequins and chunky glitter.

Thanks Gerry. I’m pretty sure he will, especially as I didn’t let him see it, so it will be a surprise. The tulle really works well for shakers and you don’t have to have the depth of foam tape.

This is wonderful. The shaker is just right and the different shape adds something special to the end result. Great sentiment for your hubby too.
