Masculine Birthday

I made this card for my cousin’s birthday. I had a lot of fun creating the background using an embossing folder and some paint splatters. Then, coloring the image was lots of fun. The first time I did the car in silver, but wasn’t thrilled with it, so went back and changed it to blue. Now, I really like it. The image is popped up a bit to give it a bit of dimension. The ribbon is just for fun and because it looked like it would work for “masculine bling.” đŸ˜‰

Try making something just because it appeals to you, or in a way that you think might be fun. Not because anyone said “this is the way to do it”, but according to what you like. Have fun creating.

This is being entered in the SimonSaysStamp Monday challenge: On a Roll (gears and wheels). It is also being entered in the SimonSaysStamp Wednesday challenge: Make Your Own Background. Gears with dark paint to look like grease spots.

Thank you for spending some of your valuable time with me today.
