The current ModSquad challenge is to make a snowy scene. The current MFT Sketch challenge is an interesting one. Figured I’d marry them together in one card.

The idea on this one was to have 3 snowy islets into a freezing water area. Made the background with a few different Distress Oxide inks, and the MFT Marble Background stamp. The strips of “snow” and the base card are made from white card. I used Distress Ink in tumbled glass to stamp the sentiment and the snowy footprints. You can’t really tell, as I couldn’t fit the Yeti at the END of the top strip, but there are outline footprints going out to the “water” on the middle strip, then solid “wet” footprints heading back on the the top snowy islet. The Yeti, footprints, and sentiment are all from the MFT set Beast Friends.
The “snow” was made with some Glitz glitter gel in clear as well as some clear glitter glue from Stampin’ Up.
The Yeti was stamped with MFT Cement Gray ink and then colored with some alcohol ink markers. I’ve been trying to work on some Kit & Clowder coloring classes, as well as working more with my alcohol inks. This isn’t quite what I was hoping for, but it worked better than the first one. A LOT better. I’m definitely going to continue trying to learn to color better with whatever medium I use.
Thanks for spending some of your valuable time with me. Stay safe, warm, and well. You are valuable!
Fun Yeti and snowy card. The background is icy cold looking and totally get your snowy islets. Cool card.

Thanks Gayle. I was having fun with this one, even with the mess of “snow”.
