The WeCraftCard.com challenge for this week was to make a card that shows why you are you, with your favorite color. The answer to that is God is who makes me and gives me purpose, so I went with the purpose He gave me: to encourage others. Added the MFT Color challenge into it, as teal is my favorite color, in it’s many shades.
So, as I usually encourage others with a card and/or a smile, I made a card, with some teal, that hopefully will bring a smile to someone’s face. This adorable set is from MFT and was designed by Birdie Brown. Now why any of the sets Birdie Brown designed would ever be retired is beyond me, as they are timeless, but apparently they retired this one. I used all the colors from the MFT color challenge in it and had some fun coloring, as well. Used alcohol markers on it, as well as pencils on the colored card.
Now, this next card was done for the MFT Sketch Challenge this week.
It is a slimline card, which is what their sketch was. This cute stamp set is from MFT, as well. Had fun making both the background and coloring this cute giraffe on a pogo stick. Adding this into the SimonSaysStampBlog Wednesday challenge, as well.
As I’m hosting the WeCraftCard.com challenge next week, I’ll give you a hint that this is one of my examples. Won’t tell you what the challenge entails, however.
Thanks for spending some of your valuable time with me today! Go enjoy the rest of your weekend and thank God for the many ways He has blessed you.
