I really liked the sketch from MFT last week, but didn’t have time to create with it. So, attempted a card this morning (cleaning can wait a bit). It didn’t come together as hoped

I used several MFT papers and the smaller Beautiful Die-Namic.

I may play with it some more, but it’s fairly close to the sketch.

Thanks for spending some of your valuable time with me today. Have a great rest of your day.

  1. What a delight of explosion of color. You are right though, the 4 sentiment elements are falling off the page and don’t look like two. Maybe stamp in the corners of each block of words to define their space?

    1. Now, had I actually gotten on the computer before working on it, I probably would have done that. I heat embossed Happy Birthday in blue on vellum and put that in the center. It seemed to look much better that way.

  2. You got the sketch and the bright colors are really lovely. I can see why you are not entirely happy with it. Maybe adding something in the centre of the card would give it what you want? It is a lovely card though – I really like the rainbow effect of the centre pieces.

  3. Love the rainbow strips and bright colors you used. Sketches can be very helpful but I tend to overthink them. The beautiful dies are just that. It’s is balanced. How about a frame around each set of word dies?? I’m glad you shared your card.
