I only did 2 of the panels to be colored by pencils. Used Prisma Premier colored pencils for these. One was stamped in green and one in black, to see the difference. It’s not so stark on these, but I still like the black outline better.

It doesn’t take as long to color with pencils, but I do have 6 layers on the century plants in the center – both are colored exactly the same, so you can definitely see the difference between the no line and the lined coloring. Blending was easier for me on these than the alcohol markers, but that is because I’ve colored with colored pencils for years and am just starting to use alcohol markers more.
Thanks for spending some of your valuable time with me today!
I like the black outlines ones. Awesome coloring! Maybe I should pull my pencils out as I rarely use them and I used to color with pencils all of the time.

Again I like both, but can see why you may prefer the black outline. It gives more definition to the rest.

Thanks Johanna. That’s what I thought, too.

These look great as well! Love all the different looks you achieved with your different coloring methods and the lined vs. no line versions.

Thanks Lisa. It was fun trying the different ways and looking at the differences between no line coloring and lined.
