Had a few minutes here and there the past couple/few/several weeks, but no time to post. Here’s a bit of what I made.
Okay, had fun with this one. The “ground” is made out of brown tissue paper just glued on.
I was hoping for a sushi set with cats, but couldn’t find either, so took a Tim Holtz set and made my own. Gave it to my son this morning and he loved it. I used a wall paper sample a friend sent me to add texture to the background dot piece. You can feel it more than see it, but it really added to the card. Thank you Bonnie!
Made this one for my husband and my 31st Anniversary. Good grief, that makes us sound so old. I’m hoping he enjoys this one. I used the Altenew Mini Set for May and did some masking for the background piece.
Had lots of fun making this one. It’s being entered in the MFT Sketch Challenge for this week. I used several of their sets and Die-namics to create it. I have to tell you, I have TONS of trouble doing the scripty birthday die and making it work. If I add adhesive to the back before cutting, it just shreds and rips. This was about try #3. Adhered it with some liquid glue and used clear Nuvo Crystal Drops to give it some dimension and shine.
Oh, my husband really did not like this card. He likes it when I color the images. He’s not fond of mixed media backgrounds, either. Oh well. I really like it.
That’s enough for this post. I’ll probably do a couple more posts today. Ha! I had some time today, not a lot, but some and it’s the last of my time for a while. I’ve been really busy, as well as trying to get some thing crocheted for my niece, whom I adore. (Maybe I am that old?!?! I’m on bonus year 11, which is 50 in years, so yep, I really am getting there.)
Thanks for spending some of your valuable time with me today! Have a wonderful rest of your weekend/week.
