Another Fall Birthday Card

Had a lot of fun making this one for my brother’s birthday. I used a foiled piece done with my laminator for the background, then added black Distress Oxide ink to it. Wiped it off with a dry cloth so you would see the shine of the foil. The piece was a Gina K hot foiling background piece. I know it really isn’t supposed to be gears/axles, but that is what it reminded me of, so that’s why I used it.

Had a lot of fun coloring the bird with Sakura Stardust Pens and some colored pencils. Added some of the Scrapbook.com Pops of Color drops. These are also what I consider fall colors, so I’m sharing this with the Shopping Our Stash Weekly challenge, as well as the Hero Arts Challenge Blog.

Thank you for spending some of your valuable time with me today!

    1. Thanks Judy. I kept changing my mind on what I was going to do for my brother’s birthday card. The gears worked and still looked good in this frame than my other idea.
