The ModSquad challenge is to “Step Up Your Stencil. The Double D challenge is “Colorful”.
So, I used one of my MFT stencils and put some Deco Transfer Gel through it. Pulled it up, then started adding glitter that went along with my Kleenex box piece. (Yes, I do save the sides on the pretty tissue boxes.) After that was dry, I chose some ribbon that went with my colors, as well as some sequins. Definitely had a lot of fun dressing up my stencil with glitter and sequins, as well as some matching ribbon. The stamp set is also an MFT set. Every Corgi I color winds up looking somewhat like my dog. But he’s absolutely adorable, so it’s understandable.
Thanks for spending some of your valuable time with me this weekend. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
It may be a bit strange, but I saw the MFT Sketch Challenge for this week and it made me think of hills with sheep running on them and being counted. Like when you’re trying to fall asleep you count sheep.
Then, I was looking for a Souffle pen that worked and found my Moonlight Pens. Well, the dream idea really took off then. I stamped images from the BB Ewe Are the Best set in white, then traced over them with the pens. This was a LOT of fun. I sponged a little white ink around the edges to give it more of a dreamy feel and this is what I wound up with:
Colorful sheep to be counted. This was fun and I’m leaving those pens out so I use them more.
Thank you for spending some of your valuable time with me today!
Here is a bright and fun card that I worked on today.
The Inspiration Challenge at MFP SpeedyTV this week is a picture of cakes. I was inspired by the colorful one and wanted to make a fun and colorful card. I choose to use some neon pink paper and ribbon to layer my image on. Also used a fun, colorful background paper.
Hopefully you’ve been inspired by some bright and fun colors now, too.
