Rainbows

Had fun with a stencil and rainbow colors.

5-6-18 STV SSS Rainbow

Used the Altenew Cube Builder Stencil; Gina K inks in: cherry red, sweet mango, wild dandelion, jellybean green, powder blue, wild lilac; the Gina K “Your Own Kind of Beautiful” stamp and die set; a gold Stardust pen; PrismaColor pencils: 912 Apple Green, 908 Dark Green, 916 Canary Yellow; and some adhesive.  Also used a Spellbinders labels die, but not sure which one.

Used this for this week’s Simon Says Stamp Blog Monday Challenge, as well as this month’s StampTV challenge.

Hope it gives you a chuckle.  Thanks for spending some time with me today.

Christmas Crop

ScrapZee had a Christmas Crop this past Wednesday through Saturday.  It was a lot of fun, 2 challenges per day and a fun Christmas song bingo game.  In fact, if you go check it out, you can still participate in each of the challenges until 11:59pm CST Tuesday and be entered in the drawing for each challenge.

Here are the items I made:

CC Fri - Envelope

This first one was a gift bag made out of an envelope.

CC Fri - Tree

For this one, we were to make a tree out of anything that wasn’t typical tree and it wasn’t supposed to be green.  My son saw my bird tree and mentioned that he thought it was a partridge in a pear tree, not a pear in a partridge tree, so I had to make a pear and add the saying.

CC Sat - Paper

This one was to make a card that resembled some Christmas wrapping paper.

CC Thurs - Gift

We were supposed to make a gift card holder.  However I forgot to go back and reread the instructions, which said no red or green.  Oops!

CC Thurs - Sketch

This one was for a sketch challenge to only use red and white card stock and to emboss a Christmas sentiment with gold embossing powder.

CC Thurs Gift Card 2 WB CC Thurs Gift Card WB

This was the replacement gift card holder.  This time I followed the instructions.

CC Wed - 12 Days

For this challenge, we were to make a card to do with one of the 12 Days of Christmas lines.  I went funny, as did several others.

CC Wed - Color Blank CC Wed - Color

For this challenge, we were to use alcohol ink and compressed air to make a fun design/paper, then use it.

My challenge was to use a bird as the focal point of either a card, tag, gift card holder, etc.  These were my samples:

Go check out the Christmas Crop at ScrapZee.com.  There are such fun creations and great ideas for your own work.  There’s also time to participate, if you’d like.

Thanks for spending some time with me!
