I really like the colors for the MFT Color Challenge, right now. So, I had to do another card with them. I’d love to have done many more, but time is scarce. So, using a bright almost neon green, a light pale blue, a bright blue, and kraft, I had some fun.
Used a fun new MFT stamp set called BB Cute Chemists. I also used the Gina K Designs Wreath Builder for the fun set up. As strange as it may sound, this is my Valentine’s card for my husband. I think it’s fun and he’ll get a kick out of it. He will be getting more than one Valentine card, just cause I like to give him a couple throughout the day.
Thanks for spending a bit more time with me today!
Had some time today to actually create. Can I just say, it was a very nice break. Here’s what I created.
Pulled out my Gina K Wreath Builder Holiday set and just had some fun with snowflakes.
This next one is using the Wreath Builder, as well. Used the Gina K stamp set More Massive Messages with it. Using this one for the Gina K. Monthly Challenge.
This last one was fun with watercolors, some watercolor paper and the My Favorite Things Beautiful Bloom, as well as the Beautiful Blessings 2 set. Entering this one in the MFT Card Challenges Sketch Challenge for the week.
Love how using vellum allows you to see what is behind, while shading it a bit. The most difficult part about vellum is adhering it without the adhesive showing. Used tiny drops of glue behind the sentiment, which doesn’t show, much.
Thank you for spending some of your valuable time with me, today. As a friend and I were just discussing, creating things is fun, relaxing, and makes us happy. Go create something of your own!
My mother asked for a set of sheep cards for Mothers Day. We had to celebrate Mothers Day early, as my folks are going out of town, as is my Mother-in-Law. Hadn’t had time to make the cards for her present, though I did post the Mothers Day cards I made for them, last week. Anyway, figured I would do 3 different kinds, with 4 of each kind. This is the first set.
Had fun making these, so I’m entering them in a Simon Says Stamp weekly challenge, as well.
- Gina K Jellybean Green card for the bases and Layering Weight White for the squares
- Gina K Wreath Builder Set – 4″
- MFT Ewe Are the Best stamp set
- We-R-Memory-Keepers Crop-A-Die Corner Chomper – Deco
- PrismaColor pencils: 939 Peach, 912 Apple Green, 904 Light Cerulean Blue
- Washi tape
Stamped the sheep every other turn, then added the flowers between the sheep. Thought fun corners would be good, so did those, then figured it was just missing something. Found this fun washi tape in my collection, which had all the colors I used and so many more, so put that on.
And now, I have the first 4 cards done. To get 2 more sets done by Wednesday is going to be a challenge, but I’m going to give it a good try. If not, she’ll get them after they get back. There’s only so much I can do.
Thanks for spending some time with me today. I realize I’m posting a lot more than I have in a very long time, but having fun sharing what I’m doing. If there is anything in particular you would like to see, please let me know. Now, go enjoy your time.
