Teal/Turquoise

So MFT Camp Create Day 4 was Monochromatic Magic.  So everything shades of the same color.  As Turquoise is my favorite, I went with light turquoise, turquoise, dark turquoise, and teal.  Definitely had fun with this one.

I used the MFT Marble Background stamp for this, covered the whole panel with Sheer Shimmer spray and cut out the sentiment with the Happy Christmas Die-namics.

I even took the time to use Nuvo Mousse to ink the edges of my white card base, so it went with the colors and sparkles, too.

Now, I am off to get ready to go to church and worship God with a bunch of other ladies this evening, so I won’t even get started on today’s challenge.  Thank you for spending some of your time with me.

Flower Child

When I saw the MFT Sketch for this week, I came up with several ideas.  This one won out.

I used the Floral Fantasy Background for my layered piece with the opening.  Used the Marble Background for the actual card base.  Did a lot of coloring with different types of markers.  I have to say, I really like the Chameleon over the Spectrum Noir.  Unfortunately, I don’t have many colors of those.  The girl and the sentiment came from the Sweet Friends set.

Colored pencils are my go to for coloring.  I am trying to learn with markers, though.
