Went over to my amazing friend’s house, yesterday afternoon and we spent a few hours creating, together. That was a lot of fun. Here is what I made, while there.
This was my idea, well about the 4th or fifth idea, but the one I went with, for the MFT Sketch challenge this week.
The challenge on WeCraftCards this week was to make a card with fall colors, it had to have either the word “fall”, or “autumn” on it, as well as a matching envelope. The bonus part of the challenge was to include 2 or more “flips” or pockets. So, I made a flip pocket that would fit a gift card, though I made the cranberry card to go inside it, as well as a pocket on the left side, with a pull out tag. A lot of work, but it turned out better than I thought it might.
This next one is for the current color challenge on MFT, and I got the pieces cut while at my friend’s, but didn’t get it put together until today.
Okay, I’m not thrilled with the look of the dragon, but I started with a good idea. I really, really, really, need to practice coloring with markers. There is some glitter on the horns, back spines/plates, and wings. And, the markers really matched the colors. Oh well, someone will get this freckled dragon card.
Thanks for spending some time with me today! Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
