My daughter’s boyfriend is having a rough time, right now, so I wanted to encourage him. There is a challenge on Stamp TV this week to use candy in a card. Of course, that would work! I also wanted to use a specific verse on the card to encourage him. As he is a guy, I went fairly simple. When I had my son look at it, he loved it just for the candy, though the amount of words inside took him back a bit. What do you think?
Supplies:
- Recollections – blue paper
- Computer and printer
- Jolly Rancher candy
This is also being used for the MFP Speedy TV Sketch with a Twist challenge this week. Can’t figure out what the sketch might be? Ha! That’s the twist. This is fairly CAS (clean and simple).
Thanks for spending some time with me today. Hopefully this will encourage you, too. God is large and in charge and I’m so very glad He is. Even when things seem to be going all wrong, He will bring it all together for good, though we don’t always recognize the good until much later, if ever. Remember, sometimes our rough times bring good to those around us, too. This I know from experience.
I think it is perfect, Golda. He will surely appreciate it -for the words especially. Blessing hugs, Teresa

I hope it encourages him. Seems like the beginning of each school year is really tough.

This is a great card, Golda! Who doesn’t LOVE Jolly Ranchers? YUMMY!! I remember when I fell in love with watermelon Jolly Ranchers – it was when I was in 3rd Grade. YUMMY!! Thanks for sharing this delightfully fun and cute card with us at Word Art Wednesday this week. What a blessing.
I’ve gotta go now…..headed to the drug store for some Jolly Ranchers!!! LOL
