Flip Card

The challenge at WeCraftCards.com this week is to make a “flip flop” card. This is the type I found, when I searched. The hello piece flips to the inside when you open it. There is a white panel the same as the gray on the inside to write on.

Used one of the leftover MFT hello’s I cut out a few weeks ago for a card. As they were about the same color as the MFT Color Challenge, I’m entering this in that challenge. Just imagine the pink is a light purple. 😉

The pink and dark gray are shimmer card stock, so I’m also putting this in the SimonSaysStamp Monday challenge of shimmer and glimmer.

This was easy to make and fun. Also made some background today, so I’m hoping to get card made with them, soon.

Thank you for spending some of your valuable time with me today!

  1. Your card looks great! It is amazing what kind of flip cards one can make with regular dies. I have many flip-it card dies designed specifically for that purpose, so I never learned to make my own. You did a great job!

    1. Thanks Gayle! I love that you see purple. You can actually do this with any shape die you have. It was pretty fun, but not something I will do often, as there’s not much room to write.

  2. This is great Golda. I love how you used the leftover word for the flip part and I can see that it is more purple than pink. I know how you mention there isn’t much room to write on the inside, but have you ever thought of using the back of the card for this. I have done that on several occasions.
