A friend posted a card either last night or this morning to the ModSquad Challenge which is a butterfly challenge. As I just bought this beautiful large butterfly die set from The Ton, I figured I could hurry home from work and make a card before tonight’s meeting. So,

So, my quick and easy card. Granted, I really need to clean and unwarp my die plates, then using dies will be quick and easy rather than places not cut through.
I also used Altenew’s Mod Squares embossing folder for the background. I used it going down, rather than up, as I liked that look better with the butterfly. Yes, you really can use things in ways other than the norm.
Now, need to run as this took longer than anticipated. Go check out some challenges and see what you can do. You can definitely do more than you think you can.
Thanks for spending some of your valuable time with me today.
WOW, for an inspiration to a complete beauty. You rocked this one.

Thanks Bonnie. It was fun to do. And, I actually got something made. I’m hoping to have more time to create this week, too.

Gorgeous, Golda, love that depth on that embossing folder but the real star is that awesome butterfly.

Thanks Gayle. Fortunately, I got the dies at the Stamp & Scrapbook Expo, so it was cheaper than online. I thought it would be a fun one to use.

Thanks Lisa. It’s amazing how much difference something so quick and easy can make. The fact it is a 3D embossing folder helps that a lot.
