Finding out a friend went home to be with God, yesterday was a shock. I wanted to make a card for his wife to encourage her. My husband thinks it’s too bright for a sympathy card. I disagree. What do you think?

I’m using this for the WeCraftCards challenge this week, as well as the MFT Sketch challenge.
Thank you for spending some of your valuable time with me today.
I think it is perfect! You know she is in heaven praising God as does her husband. It should be a celebration, even though everyone is grieving the loss of her being with you now. I love the bright colors.

I got the genders mixed up as the husband passed and not the wife. The same thoughts are for both. She will love the bright colors as they will bring her a sense of joy, which she may need right now.

Golda – I think this is just the right type of card to make. So many somber things happening right now and this is another of them. She will know you care and appreciate the card. I love it personally.

For someone who does not have faith it could be too bright, but for those who do not fear death and know what waits beyond this earth, it offers the perfect tone.

That is true Bonnie. Fortunately, they both know the Lord and he is now home with God.

Thanks Gayle. They have been good friends since our kids were very little, so it hit hard.
