Cactus Blossom

Blossoms come in all shapes, sizes, and meanings. I really like this stamp set, which is by a local artist and sold through Scraps of Love, a local scrapbooking store. As SimonSaysStamp Wednesday blog challenge is Beautiful Blossoms, I’m going with these fun cacti and the beautiful blossom. Granted, this type of blossom would be on a Saguaro and not a Prickly Pear, so I made it pink, rather than the white a Saguaro bloom is. I am intending to do this panel in both alcohol marker and pencil, as well. But, have only finished the water color ones, so far.

Had fun creating these and two others. Did extra of the blossom and a couple of the cacti and popped them up to add some depth.

Thanks for spending some of your valuable time with me today. Have a wonderful rest of your week.
